Road Safety Week 2020

National Yellow Ribbon Road Safety Week is from 15 November to 22 November. The Week highlights the impact of road trauma and ways to reduce it.

Sticking to the road rules is a sure way of reducing the chances of road trauma. Test your road rule knowledge and go into the draw to win an iPad.

Other ways you can become involved in Road Safety Week is to take the pledge to drive so others survive and pick up a free yellow ribbon for your car, or a lapel ribbon to wear, from a Service Tasmania outlet.

Landmarks throughout Tasmania will be lit in yellow, including the Launceston Town Hall, the Burnie Makers Centre and the Salvation Army Centre in Lutana in the state’s south.

Road Safety Week is an initiative of the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group that partners with road safety organisations and governments throughout Australia.
