Motorcycle lane filtering improves traffic flow in Tasmanian cities.

Lane filtering is when a motorcyclist moves between stationary or slow-moving vehicles that are travelling in the same direction as the rider. It clarifies what motorcyclists can and cannot do legally and helps road users understand what is and isn’t permitted. Lane filtering is part of the national road rules.
