In the past decade 13 school-aged children have been seriously or fatally injured when using school bus services. The 92,000 Tasmanian children who travel to and from school each day are one of the most vulnerable road users.
A campaign to educate children about how to be safe around school buses has been developed in partnership with the Road Safety Advisory Council, the Tasmanian Bus Association, Metro and the Department of Education. The campaign website is here.
